Swinton Park, close to the market town of Masham in North Yorkshire, is a true hidden gem that many are not even aware of and is set in 200 acres of parkland, lakes and gardens. The first thing that strikes you is the impressive entrance to the estate with the castle and it's fairytale tower viewed directly through the arching gateway before the sweeping drive brings you around to the cobbled entrance to the hotel.
Inside you are welcomed by an old world charm that is rare in any hotel these days, but Swinton Park retains a feeling that it exists in another age, - one of luxury and opulence yet welcoming and friendly.
